If too large of a piece the anemone won't be able to digest it all. So at some point may be spitting it out. I haven't directly fed mine in years and they grow like crazy.

If you do feed, keep it small. Some mysis or brine that it can catch on its own maybe every week or 2.

I froze it in frames- feed Chopped fish, krill or mysis shrimp

My nem does that after feeding large prey. It usually makes me think that the prey is too large and the nem is having trouble getting it down, but it might just be normal digestion. Feed it smaller prey items in the future. In my experience, they'll grow just fine even if you don't target feed them, so i don't feed mine unless I really want it to explode in growth or split.
