That looks like flashing which is where the fish is trying to get something off of its skin, this could be an early sign of ich or something similar so i would highly recommend to keep a close eye on it and look for any white spots. It also looks very dark which could suggest stress which could be another symptom or cause of the possible ich

Ok so the fact it’s really new could suggest ich, its a multi stage parasite which could be causing irritation as it is just establishing if so you will see tiny little spots soon, they are easier to see under the light at an angle as they start as just little bumps rather than super white, thats how i caught mine early

It’s been perfectly fine and still eats and seems interested every time I approach the tank but it’s been doing this:

This fish is showing indications of flukes and you can safely treat with praziPro at 85% of recommended dosage and allow it to work for 8 days, change water and apply one more application lasting 8 days and do add an air stone as Prazi lowers both oxygen and appetite which may be the case or part of it
Looks a hair thin - what foods are you feeding it?

Okok i add prazi pro to the main tank or to the QT i currently have a clown on QT being treated with copper. Flukes look like hairs on the fish?

Looks like fish scales and even sesame seeds. You can mix but utilize air stone

How do I know if it’s ich or flukes? I tried searching up but they look the same
Please post good pics so we dont have a guessing game. Ich will look like someone sprinkled salt on the fish. Flukes rarely visible - the fish will have elevated breathing rate, itching/scratching, yawning effect, sudden darting as examples

I just saw the yawning I’m sorry my camera is not that good i’m trying to upgrade it soon. I will treat it for flukes. Just for precaution I took all my fish out of the display because I had an issue with one of my clowns a while ago and he was finishing his treatment but just to make sure

Safest treatment is PraziPro but takes a couple of days to start taking effect
