Is this normal for acans?

hey guys, below are some pics of my acans, to me they seemed to extended. Maybe asking for more light ? or to many heads on the frag disk? They are growing like crazy, but seem a little to extended. What you guys think?

One or two of my acan colonies do look extended but they've always looked that way. Do yours just start extending recently? I always thought acans colored up better in lower light so I keep mine in the sand.

they have been extended for some time now, but i dont remember them being this extended when i bought them, and yess i also try keeping them low in the tank , because they do color up nice under less light

Move them up a little higher and see how they react but they don't look bad to me.

I'm new to acans, but this looks just like what happens to zoas (or even xenia or GSP) when they are not getting enough light.

Once you get some more light going, o move them up they'll settle down and look a little fatter.
