Hi all, would like to know for this pieces of devil's hand leather, it already didn't extend it's polyps for quite a few months. The sinularia was behind it since way back. Could it be it irritated the devil's hand ? The current placement would be mid close to high light low flow.

My other question is i gotten this pieces as japanese toadstool coral, but no matter where i place it, the polyps extension is all just short polyps instead of getting long, what could i do to encourage long polyps extension?

Yes, they could be engaged in chemical warfare. Try running charcoal if you have not already done so.

Actually preciously i had put activated carbon, but doesn't seems to help. I guess I have to pry out the devil's hand. Both are attached on the same rock.
