My BTA keeps to stretch all the way out during the day. Is this normal behavior? She moved to that location under the rock over a month ago. Sometimes she is beautiful other looks like just cake out of a blender...water parameters are within range. The only low one is calcium at about 380. Twice a week I will dose to move it back to around 420. Any ideas with what to do about stretching like that?

It appears it's reaching for light. What lights do you have?

Thats not entirely un-normal. I cant speak to the cake out of a blender thing, but from my understanding they often times leave their foot way under a rock and then move their body towards the light. Mine stretches its foot the same if not further than yours and it is doing amazing. Tons of growth and great color.

Until it stops going towards the light or it loses color it I wouldnt worry about it.

Good afternoon, I'm using orbit IC at this time. I hope I get to install my new photon V2+ this weekend...

The cake out of a blender it's not a pretty thing to look at.

Mine does this every day. Its foot is way down inside a hole in my rock, and it stretches about 8 inches upwards during the day. At night it shrinks way down and is tiny. It's been doing this consistently for about 6 months.

Yes- seeking light as they are Very Photosynthetic

I think once you upgrade you'll see a huge improvement in your nem. Just one note - adjust brightness slowly, small increments over a week or two.
