Is this normal?

My rock nem always looks like this. Is it normal for its mouth to do that?

It's mouth is gaping a little too much I think, however the tentacles and color looks OK. Is it shrinking? Are the tentacles sticky? Will it accept food? Mine tried to eat a mushroom floating by one time and his mouth looked like that for a few days, but it got better.

Its very sticky and hermits get stuck to it all the time if they try to go underneath it. He isn't shrinking at all and eats great. Seems to be very healthy other than his mouth...
