Great growth,although the base seems to be eroding and brittle. Weekly 3 gal water changes with Reef Crystals. Its a 15gl biocube. Sorry folks I dont test anymore. They expired.

That's pretty much what the ones in my tank look like ... they haven't been in my care terribly long, maybe two months? They grew like that in another tank that was being taken down.

I'm really super ok good at waterchanges. Haven't checked levels other than salinity in years. I run that ~1.025.

What about your Calcium, Alkalinity and Magnesium levels?

Corals need those elements to produce a strong skeleton . . .

I've been using mostly Red Sea test kits, but Salifert gets good marks from a lot of folks as well.

I behlive brittle and eroding skeletons usually indicates they were/are being grown in a low calcium environment......I think.
