Is this normal?

Hey, I spot fed my corals and I noticed my Darf Bonsi holding onto the Reef Roids. The polyps weren't out much to begin with, so I'm surprised they held onto the food. Is this normal or is it just stuck? See 1st picture

Sorry, I'm new to Acros so my LFS recommended this piece to start with because he said it's easy (along with a wwc yellow tip and wwc short cake). I know nothing about Acros, but it's been a week for this Bonsi and it's still alive. The other 2 seem ok
