Is this one of those pest snails that have webs or something else going on with this Blasto?

That is the one, take it out while you have only one of them. Give it couple of weeks and you will get tank full of them

That frag has been in my tank for about three months and that's the only one I see.

Sadly that Blasto is doing well, but if that's the vermetid snail then it has to come out.

Can I simple break this snail off, dip my Blasto and put it in Quarantine?

Pull out the frag and try to scrape the snail of it, some people use super glue or epoxy over them ,replace or remove the plug and dip it after.
I had yellow coris wrasse taking care of them in the past as well

Okay. So don't break it off in the dip bowl?

Just super glue it and put it in Quarantine?

I asked my lfs about one that was on a frag I wanted to purchase and he informed me they starve when super glued and to wait a month to be sure it's dead. He glued the one I bought and it went in my tank, I left it on the frag plug when I mounted. I then received a wwc frag a couple weeks later that had one growing on it and I followed the same procedure and it seems to have worked 4 months no more corals purchased or snails in tank. I don't have a quarantine but if you do it couldn't hurt if it's as stable as you DT.

I cut it off and I also cut off anything around the Blasto that wasn't coral. I then dipped it in CoralRX, it's now in Quarantine. Thanks for the tips.

Pull the frag out for a minute, and use a tweezer or something to crush and scrape the entire snail from the plug.

You DO not want to let it plague your system.

[edit]
Just like you have done lol
