I picked up a frag today, but not really sure what it is. Someone mentioned it might be pink lemonade. Can anyone help ID it?

I'd say different growth also. Most pink lemonades have thinner branches.

My Pink Lemonade frag is very thin. The polyps are very bright iridescent pink at the extreme tip, darker pink to the base of each polyp. The polyps ends are wispy and filamentous, and yours are thicker, like flowerets. Also my PL does not grow in tight clusters but forms branches. In mine the base is dark green, not pink as is yours.

But...you have a very handsome colony, worthy of any collection! Thanks for posting.

Deffinatly doesn’t appear to be pink lemonade, growth dosnt resemble the ones I’ve had... but nothing coming to mind name wise! Sorry but looks like a nice peice!

Looks like it has tons of potential. I would recommend highlight as well for this piece. Some of the wild Floyd/Wolverine acros get these hues when they've been in low light for extended periods of time. Nice score

I was thinking shortcake too (A. Microlados). True Tyree Pink Lem gets a blue ring around the encrusting base... this is one way to keep the real ones from the renames.

If the coral did not come with lineage and a name, then it does not have one. It is still an awesome coral.

On a second thought looks more like A. Latistella. I do think Pink Lem is A. Microclados or possibly A. Nasuta. I can tell you this piece has lots more to come. Wether it ends up like yellow/green PinkFloyd type colors or Bali SC who knows for sure, just give it a decent amount of light and flow.

SSC will go completely green or brownish, but I cannot say I have ever seen it start with bright green corallites, and that deep maroonish base color.
