I just got this Rainbow Road Platy yesterday and I'm not really sure what to expect. Does this seem to be alright? It doesn't seem to take any LPS food and doesn't react to much, and the color seems a bit different than the other coral I received. I'll check levels and all, just trying to set my expectations. If it's fine, great :)

Keep in mind vendors such as aqua SD love to use filters to bring out the colors vs nautral light. Hard to see coral colors when the photo is washed out by the actinic light.

For sure, makes sense. Does it seem fine physically though? It's very difficult for me to take a picture otherwise. I namely was concerned just about its well-being though. But it was a bit weird that between this and my pseudo acan from them, even with the blue light I don't see colors anywhere near resembling them.

In either case, does it look relatively healthy? All of the others seemed to eat food, just this guy hasn't really done anything haha

It doesn't look too well. Also, that's Paragoniastrea australensis, not Platygyra. Platygyra have more uneven septa and no paliform lobes.

Ugh, another mislabel from AquaSD. Does it look calcium related? I just got this from them yesterday.

Well, since you're on a roll here, is this guy not doing well also? Is that white bit skeleton? This is the mislabeled, not really acan silver bullet but micromussa. Thoughts?

Looks like superglue to me.

Maybe aqua SD has been sending out fresh frags?

That would be weird to have super glue all over that side though.

What would make that fresh? I'm not familiar with the process. Would it look like that if it was just cut, therefore showing white?

Do the polyps look fleshy enough/healthy?
