Is this something I need to be worried about?

My Queen Angel’s top lip has gone sort of colorless/white. It’s not fluffy or anything like that.
I’m not sure if it’s an injury or sickness or nothing to worry about..
Saw it for the first time a few days ago, the white part spread a little the first couple days but now seems to have stayed the same over the last 48 hours.

Does the white appear to be soft tissue or bone? Could he have gotten into a fight with another tank inhabitant?

If an infection seems to start, you should isolate in QT and treat with an antibiotic such as kanaplex.

Looks like an injury from scrape on rock or bumping into object and should heal on its own but keep an eye on it to assure its healing and not becoming infected

To me it looks like the lip is rubbed back a bit, like an injury..
He’ll sometimes push himself into my foxface, so definitely could be an Injury from a spike. I’m just not expert enough to determine that..

I’ll try get more videos and pics.
How would I know if there’s an infection?

I started dosing food today with Bio Viv vitamins. He doesn’t like that so much though..

It will become dark/pink or raw looking
Ok thanks so much!
I think it may have looked a little pink in the middle 24 hours ago. But now I don’t see pink anymore. (As you can see in the pic)

I’ll keep a close eye on it.
Going to do another water change and keep up vitamins. Hopefully that’ll help it heal quicker

It does look like a minor scrape to me as well. You didn't catch it in a net in the past few days did you? That often causes lip injuries like this.
