Hello I’ve had my tank running for a month. Everything seems to be great but I check in here sometimes to understand corrals better and you
All have been such a great help. My new question is does this seem happy or should the mouth be closed during the day? At night I can see it wide open with tentacles. This is during the light / day

Perfectly normal. I have some trumpets that only extend their feeder tentacles at night, others that are closed and bouncy during the day, and others that change their mouths depending on the day.

Overall happy. Check and verify salinity as they tend to retract a little when salinity is high. I see many recently getting false salinity whereas the gage reads 1.025 and find its 1.031

Just mixing salt water for water change and recalibrated Hannah salinity checker. Helps to be on top of things thanks again vette!

Thanks for the reply. It’s so neat how they all have a way of behaviors. I’m trying to understand each corral behavior for my one day dream tank! Thanks again.
