Hello, this is surely a silly question but I am not sure what kind of coral this is. At first look it seems like a dying duncan but it's been like this for over a month, seems to open a bit during the day hours but never any polyps emerge. Tan and light blue skin covering the skeleton and bright green center that doesn't come out. I thought I would double check if I might be missing something.

Thanks for any help.

seems it hasn't colored up completely yet, and it seems slightly deflated (likely doesn't like that spot. either too much flow or too much light). what are your water parameters & lighting?

Yeah, he doesn't seem to have any fluff, looks almost like just skeleton structure except for the skin over it. I've not had any change for app 30 days, but I haven't moved him. He's app half way in my tank which is a medium light tank mostly softies, dont know the par

Calcium and mag are a bit high. Candy canes are generally pretty hardy and do well when target fed from my experience.
