Regarding your float stating open, if you want In the open position and turned off in the closed state. Simply remove the snap ring and flip the float around. But mind you. The switches are normally in the open position when disconnected. So if you were to have a broken float and the program is set to open. You would want the skimmer to turn off. Which is the way you already have it!

Finally got the BRS dosers mounted and programmed. Just getting the 2 part mixed and primed in the cords.

First decided to measure out the containers so I know how much fluid is being used.

Trying out the two little fishes 2part system. Mixed easily.

The setup is a bit messy right now because the space is tight. But I need to start slowly raising alkalinity.

The Cadlight 75 gallon Artisan II cabinet is a tight squeeze.

MyAI app for iPhone just got updated to version 2.7. I don't know if this is new or came with the previous update but you can now adjust the Hydra HD via simple color temperature in the app.

Thanks for this build Looks great. I have been reading avidly through the whole thread getting some tips on my upcoming build of a Cadlights Versa 60 cube which was just delivered yesterday!
I am also looking at the Neos skimmer range . How do you like yours?

When you get new fish.
Float the bag for a bit to match temps.
Open the bag and get a salinity target.
Set your qt to match.
Dump fish in.

When you open the bag it causes all the built up poop to start converting to ammonia.
Think its called toxic bag syndrome or something.

I really have nothing but good things to say. It's quiet, and it skims great. I do feel I had to break it in,...or it could have just been me. I learned to understand how to dial it in.

Actually, I do have one complaint: unscrewing the cup. I hope they correct this issue with at least a plastic lever for leverage or plate and screws. Or simply the big thick pressure o ring.

My solution is the external overflow container and silicone grease.

Finally got a chance to replace my BRS RO/DI filters. Seems crazy but it's been like six months. The water here is very hard.

Unscrewed the two DI units.

DI Resin is strange. Of anyone has information about how to dispose of it I would love to know.

But mine was definitely used up. Dumped out into a bag:

It's all golden... No blue at all...

I wonder if BRS sells sponge replacements.

Now replacing the carbon blocks. I was surprised again to see how dirty both blocks are... Here's a pic of the used block next to the replacement:

All replaced and the correct canisters:
IMG_1476594725.141914.jpg

Now just letting the first stages -- before the DI -- rinse for 30 minutes. Then letting the full system flush for 35 gallons which I'll discard, well... I feed my lawn with it.

Some evening pictures of my reef. Slow build still. Livestock is full but corals are still being inserted.

Newest member of the community is this small Diamond Goby. I really needed more aggressive sand churn to keep some spots detritus light, and I don't want a starfish.

Added a flower pot Coral. And a fresh frag of a neon green knobby. Moved stuff around to make room but I need to go on a clean up this arrangement. I just purchased an order of rainbow ricordia yumas, I want to make a ricordia section.

A bit worried about the behavior of this clown.

He seems to be hugging the sides vertically.

Not sure... Still eating. There's definitely some chasing going on. Especially between the mocha and the gladiator.
