For my cyano issue in the sump:

This weekend I'm going to glue down my red flame macro to rocks do they are fully submerged and stable for more flow. Also, change my lighting period in the refugium.

@reefAPalooza was kinda a bust. I wasn't impressed. It was small. No special pricing. I didn't see anything I didn't know about. And @rodsfood or LRS wasn't even there. I wanted a good frag kit. I have major xenias.

Xenias need fragging.

Ugh... Filter socks cleaning time. Wish my system was big enough for a roll-a-mat.

Turned inside out (Pain in the **s), soak in Bleach and warm water, then squeeze, twist, then wash in washer on sanitary cycle.

I set the Eheim feeder properly and using the innovative marine defroster feeder as a feeding ring. The apex will monitor salinity and ph and for fun ORP. I'm glad I got the Smart ATO because of its auto shutoff feature. But realized I need some redundancy just in case so will install some float switches when I get back. Also, I see the value of a nest cam to see the reef and a cheaper one for the sump.

Can Apex pull in two cameras?

Just got back from the holiday-family-get-together and all's well. Only unusual thing is that my bubble tip rainbow anemone, Bubbles, moved to the front of the reef. And the neon frog spawn opened up. Hmmmmmm. The only issue is that I put too many feedings on the Eheim feeder, because I can see the brown diatom party on the sand bed.

These are super low light photos. I'm in acclimation mode with my Hydra Fifty-two HD, since I got some frags from RAP. I also cut my lighting schedule down last week.

Came home last night to my smallest Ocellaris clown completely beat up. Torn fins and what appears to be a bruised mouth.

It was late but I had opened another thread on R2R to get some advice and was asked to take a FTS. So I turned three Hydra to All On.

You can see the little guy in the bottom front right side of the picture.

Here's the link to the other thread:
Please help identify condition of clown

I've isolated the clown in a breeder box. And my hope to have two pairs of clowns in a 70 gallon is just not working. I will need to remove two clowns from this setup.
