I'm almost certain my Anemone ate one of my Chromis. [emoji55]

I was having the same issue during that time. I was thinking my tank was actually running a bit hotter than the house because it sits in the living room close to an exterior door and my thermostat is over in the dining room.I wanted to note a strange occurrence. I have two temp probes on my DT hooked into my APEX System. It's been very hot here in SoCal the past couple weeks. What was weird is that one of the temp probes started rising in temp. Very slowly at first. It was strange. I assumed something was heating the tank and I put fans on the system and ice bottles in the sump. I was expecting the system to run around 78-80 --- we keep the house at around 78, but with the lights on the aquarium will rise to 81-82 without fans on the surface during the 100 degrees outside / 78 inside.
I had both temp probes in the sump. One before the heater and one in the return chamber. I decided to move one up into the DT overflow to make sure I was getting an accurate reading of my DT water temp. The probe in the sump started to rise even more. It was nuts. So, I switched the temp probes on the apex to see if it made a difference, and it did. One was obviously bad. About this time the faulty one was reading 86 degrees, which didn't match my 3rd temp thermometer which is only a digital one I keep in the sump to double check temps. I bought a new APEX temp probe on Amazon and the temps are fine again. But really weird.
You have a lot going on. How is the main tank going?
