Isolation station?

I recently purchased an Isolation station from 4coral.com. Mainly to socially acclimate any new purchases I get because my Purple Tang can be mean. I have lost a couple new arrivals due to her aggression and I don't want to lose any more.
I am just wondering how long I can expect to keep the new fish in the box. I have never used it before and want to do it right. Thanks in advance...

8 days is the longest I have kept a fish in it.

I would think it just depends on how long you notice the purple tang showing aggression toward the new arrival.

That's what I was thinking, too. I just didn't know if there was a certain amount of time. With new arrivals, she usually calms down after a couple days...
