Issue with Vertex Omega 180i

Hello all I can't get my skimmer to skim right. It keeps wet skimming. I tried the height and everything . The only reason I know it's not skimming right it's cause the tank water is not crystal clear even with carbon and gfo.

Need some more information. How old is the skimmer? Is the skimmer fully broke in? What depth are you running the skimmer in? Can you post a picture of your skim mate I know these skimmers can take awhile to break in and setup. But once you nail it they are a beast. There could be other factors contributing to the cloudy tank.

The skimmer is almost 2 years but it was out of water for 8 months. The skimmer now it at 7 in. Pictures I will post tonight. The skimmer has been running already 3 months.
