Soooo I noticed today it’s very solemn. Atleast where I am. People are working, freaking out about covid. Everyone (including me) is ******** about something.
Throughout the day, I’ve felt frustration, annoyance, disgust and hostility. It’s only 12:21 where I am. I still got the whole day to go. But every now and then I get this little feeling of joy. Its a feeling of “you are not alone.”
And that’s the thing, I’m not. It’s Easter. Christ is with me. I’m watching the Pope do a mass with next to no one there (due to covid). The same with people from different forms of Christianity. It’s a big deal to not celebrate Easter with friends and family. Not having a mass celebration on Easter is unreal.
Sure we have theological differences. But we all share Christ and today I hope not being able to celebrate with your community doesn’t damper the day.
