It’s opening day!

Don’t know if there’s any baseball fans here, but I’m looking forward to another season. Cubs are 1-0. 161 to go. Go Cubs!

It was hard to get excited about opening day this year with the Indians first game being at 10:30 p.m in Seattle. Not sure what MLB was thinking with using that time slot for opening day.......and I would give your first post a thumbs down if I could lol.

And of course we started the season with a loss to the Yankees. I think it’s going to be a long season........

I imagine the reds will be tanking for their rebuild. Top ten farm system right now. Got to love votto. I hope they trade him so he has a chance for a ring, but I think he wants to stay.

I’ll have to check out the tribute. Halladay was great. It’s going to be tough in that division for the jays. They need to flip Donaldson and eat the cash so they can get the best prospect they can. Their farm system is also solid. Dates me that their top two prospects are bo bichette and vlad Guerrero jr. I have their dads rookie cards!

Haha! I watched the replay of the game when I got home from work. I already knew that happened, but when I watched I still jumped around like a little kid. I love this team.

I’m down with the chisox now a days. First time since I was a little kid. Of all teams mentioned here, they’ve got the strongest farm system. Maybe the best in all of baseball. Hope the Quintana Jimenez trade works for both teams. Jimenez could be a superstar. I’m hoping to see a cubs chisox WS in 2-3 years. Of course I’ll be rooting for the north siders though.

Cubs are going to have to even it up then! Then we’ll need a tie breaker! Baseball in Chicago is getting even more exciting. I’m glad the Sox decided to tear it down and start from the bottom like the Cubs did. I think that’s the model most teams are following these days.

And I’ve loved Quintana for a while and hoped the cubs and sox could work something out. I love the consistency in his numbers. Hasn’t been many trades between the clubs since Sosa that I can think of off the top of my head.

I'm pretty excited to be travelling to Chicago April 30. Gonna catch a Cubs game at Wrigley too! (even though I'm an Astros fan there's something about the brick and ivy)
