i have to work from 7pm to 7am, and tonight have absolutely no "work". so i'm getting paid to surf RC and club zoa. but no one is online to entertain me with new threads.

I'm usually up at 5, and online by about 5:15 with a cup of coffee brewing. I have some stuff coming in today, and it is going to be real nice out, so I took the day off. So I'm not up until now this morning.

Man, the grave yard shift, huh? How long have you worked it? Do you like it?

When you put out an order do you pick out colors that you want or just quantity? Could you ask the wholesaler for 10 blues, 8 reds, 12 yellows....?

I've always been fascinated by the commercial side of this hobby. In terms of how things are collected from the wild, shipped, handled at the warehouse, organized and sent out. I would love to go to one of those receiving sites in California.

Have you ever gone to one of those places?

Generally quantity. I always ASK for certain colors. Sometimes I get them, and sometimes I dont.

Never been to Cali. Would like to sometime just to cruise 104th street.

Been getting to tag along on wholesaler runs lately.

i dont mind the graveyard shift one bit, as long as i'm kept busy. b/c working with chemicals that are strong acids and explosives pretty much demands you to be awake and have a full awareness. so if i find myself fallling asleep i'll run a practice experiment that goes for about 2hrs, much more effective than caffeine that gives me the "shakes".

i've worked with surgeons over night, and didnt mind it as long as there was stuff to do, if there wasnt anything to do i would get sleepy.

12hrs is a bit rough, but we switch to 8hr rotating shifts after labor day.

everyone else is still asleep. i'll think about you guys at 3pm when i'm just getting up and having breakfast!! LOLz....

You might catch me up between 3-5 some time, but I need all the beauty sleep I can get (see pic in member faces and pics thread ). I'm usually only on late if I'm in the middle of a long treatment and need to wind down... Let's hope those days are over now. AEFW's, monti nudi's, red bugs (the first ones I got and also the easiest to get rid of, so I shouldn't complain about RB's). No zoa preds, yet...
