Me too! It looks so natural and artistic. I like the dome sand hill on the other end, too!Tank is filling in great! Really loving the “sand all blown to the overflow side” look

I just watched the video of you on ReefDudes. It’s so nice to put a voice and face to people‘s posts that you read online. I like reading your messages a lot. I never knew you had a tank because I never saw a build-thread-badge in your profile.
Do you have any kids?Going on 18 years of keeping tanks. Took a small break when I got married and moved 3 times in 6-8 weeks
Lifestyle? That’s a better reply than mine. I always say it’s a diseaseThe time has come to get a thread going for this new build. I will do my best to keep everything updated as we move along but this build will be slow. Be prepared.

Let's get some pics going and will share my thoughts on each item for this build in future posts. This build is, in essence, 16 years in the making and the title comes from a conversation my wife and I had while moving the tank in. I will share that story later when I post the move in pics but for now:
She said, "The things we do for a hobby. For. A. Hobby!"
My response, "It's a lifestyle."
Do you have any kids?
Also, 3 times in about 7 weeks? Why did you need to move so many times in such a short time period? I wouldn’t have been able to do that. Wow.
Lifestyle? That’s a better reply than mine. I always say it’s a disease
New setup looks great. Why did you make the change away from the AI blades?
Tank looks great sir!
Amazing!!Got some late night Glow shots. Just the Blade Glow on and a yellow filter.
Tank is filling in great! Really loving the “sand all blown to the overflow side” look
