Soo, living in an old, but sturdy ( thank heavens) farmhouse I am setting up this tank in an area off the kitchen and dining room.
It has large front windows on the opposite side that are far enough away to not hit the tank directly, but lovely for viewing when you come up the patio and are having breakfast.

I wanted the tank to be higher.
One reason is we are tall people and its easier to observe the tank for issues that may flare up.

So the stand is custom built by Tito, my man, and it alone is 3 ft. high.
It is 72.5" long and 18.5" wide.
He used 2x4s for most of the construction and 2x8 for extra support around top.
It's been assembled with 2.5" construction screws.

The width at the bottom is to fit the 40 gal. sump underneath.
I have a small frag tank that will be part of system. It will be placed on end where cupboard is sitting in photos.

So here are the first photos of the stand in its placement:

( plus a pic of the rare bulldog face puffer trying it out.)
