Its leaking!! How do I stop it?

this is a MRC beckett skimmer. Its leaking above where the beckett screws in by about am inch.

It seems that your leak is not from a thread, correct? If not, silicone sealant might do the trick. Best to dry the area, thoroughly remove any dirt/other material and then apply the sealant. Read the label to determine the cure time (I usually wait a full 48 hours before wetting to allow for complete curing).

It's not clear from the pics....do you mean where the PVC meets the acrylic? (Have you confirmed the precise location yet?)

If acrylic weld on 16 or four
If pvc new fitting or as someone stated silicone

Hey John did you get this fixed? I see what appears to be thread seal tape. that stuff should NEVER be used on plastic threads for waterproof purposes. is it leaking from the threads?
