I received this Hollywood Stunner as a freebie at Reefapalooza last June and it really went through the paces as my tank really wasn't ready for frags but I bought stuff anyway.
Well half of the Stunner died when my Nitrates went off the charts. But over the last few months it has made a huge comeback and almost completely recovered.
But that's not why I am excited, one of the things that really attracted me to this coral were the sweepers that it puts out, I have seen some wicked vids of their extensions but in all the time I have owned mine, Nada, Nothing, Zilch.
Well today I'm sitting here enjoying the tank and I catch something flicking off the top and my first thought was that it was losing flesh. I take a closer look and there they go, little stinging machines after all this time. I am pretty stoked!!!

Yeah, the small things really make me happy lol
Now don't laugh, they are small but in their defense the water is cold lol

I'll have to dig back in my camera roll, but I've got a few pictures of my Hollywood stunner, attacking the snot out of a brittle star that was trying to walk across it. I had no idea they would attack non corals.

I recently saw two stunners in a LFS that were the size of footballs with huge sweepers, I really can't wait to see what you experienced.
When they have those sweepers out it is just wicked impressive.
Sorry for your loss, I'd give this coral another shot. I am really impressed by the color contrast and yes the sweepers.

I agree on little things. Saw a key hole limpet in my tank last night. Went from "ready to sleep" all the way to acting like a 2 yr old who discovered cookies.
