and today was the first day I was excited to see that one of my shrooms had a baby. Just a plain old blue mushroom which I got for free. It actually felt like that moment your first guppy has babies and you run around the house screaming of joy.

3 Weeks ago I finally got fed up with debating if my lighting was sufficient enough or not, so I picked up a second hand ATI hybrid. 2 Long years of not knowing why easy stuff like mushrooms, zoas, gsp and xenia died and zero growth in lps corals (with more than enough nutrients!). The last year I've been doing everything to stabilize my system, yet everything kept struggling.

Well, after just 3 weeks with the new lights I've spotted 3 baby shrooms and a couple of new zoa heads. Even better: my zoas are no longer stretching and my latest frag, a red people eater, has doubled its heads in size. Overall PE is amazing, although that was never an issue before, everything's even bigger now. Only thing I'm sour about is that just a week before the upgrade, I gave away my struggling sps and replaced them with easy soft corals :p

That is all, just wanted to share my childish joy with you all lol :D
I'm very excited to see how my corals will do in a couple of months from now.
