First off I'm sad to let this eel go..
I've had it for around 2 years now. I got it when it was 17 inches. Is around 32 inches now and 2 times as thick.

When I bought it i was able to reach out to the actual diver that got it. He found two in the same cave. He got both. With that being said. It was the brighter colored one. There is no way to tell if it's male or female.

Feeding.. it gets feed fresh fish 2-3 times a week. It's been on 2 hunger strikes since I had it. It has been around the same time in November-December. They are known to have more but I've only seen it twice..I keep it a non closed tank it has nother tried to get out. It will let you know when it's hungry. It will come to the corner of the tank and just wait half way up.

It does have a few tank mates

That is just beautiful! What size tank is he in?

If I had my 90 gallon tank still I would get him [emoji24][emoji24] maybe one day I'll be able to house one.

Nice eel I'm here in Washington DC. That's a fish on my to get list. Looks healthy. I have had 2 eels in my tanks before. 24" snowflake I have to a friend because my yellow head was aggressive towards him. The yellow head kills my Harlequin tusk , and lion fish of course because my lion fish is poisonous he eventually died

It's close enough come check it out. Probally the cheapest you will find one also

That is a beauty!! Whoever buys him, please start a build thread so we can see more pics if him!

Wow! That's awesome!

Thanks guys wife's begging me to keep it but with a 2nd kid and 2 other tanks can't do it

Truly awesome person to deal with. Someone better grab this for the right price before you regret missing out on it lol
