Thanks for the compliments. This was muc more of a pain to aquascape than our first tank when we just had plain live rock with nothing on it. Trying to configure everything and have the corals where I wanted them was pretty tricky, but I am pretty happy with the end result.

Everything looks good this morning. Will have to run a ton of tests this afternoon to make sure the levels are where they should be. Plus still need to clean the old setup.

Almost a week since we switched everything over. Still trying to get everything stabilized as far as how much to dose, what intensity to have the lights on, etc. Seems my alk crept up on me and I have a minor alk swing as well as a possible small bacteria bloom because the water is a little cloudy. I have been running carbon. All in all things are looking pretty good. The only livestock I believe we lost in the move was 2 Anthias. They were in a brute with our mean clowns and I think the beat them up during the time I was Aqua scaping. 1 of the 3 is alive.

Here are some pics from today:

Seems we have got the parameters and dosing under control now. The cloudy water went away the next day and everything is looking really good! I did lose most of my purple stylo colony to RTN, but hopefully I won't lose it all. The acros are all doing well but 1 that I just bought at the OSRAS conference. Other than that I lost an orange frogspawn. As tough as it is to lose anything I am still considering this a good move. I knew with the upgrade and all the moving parts I was bound to have some loss, I am just glad nothing happened catastrophic.

Now to start stocking this thing! First on the list is a pair of designer clowns. any recommendations?

Personally I love the Davinci clowns or the Wyoming Whites. I also really dig the Frostbite clowns
There is also a new morph called mocha frostbite. Their pretty cool also.
