hey i think im gonna build a nice stand... yes i will.

framed with 2x4
wrapped in birch cabnet grade ply.
trim custom made from white pine 1x3 and 1x2
poplar board for controllers
stained and polyurethaned

during construction of stand we had to put my boy down. neptune, he was 4. got diabetes at 3, liver failure was too much for him, one of the saddest weeks for my family

oops forgot the filtration setup.

ultra basic for now, the 3x3 diy media basket is full of pond matrix, the skimmer and the other media basket has room for bags of carbon or chemi pure or whatever i decide to go with.

so these amazing beautiful demons we call clownfish are about 7 years old and a breeding pair.... come to find out they have an appetite for... acans and that just wont do smh

i found this out after i finally moved my coral over from qt.

so anyway i moved the coral in, recieved shipment number two to go in qt and noticed the clowns being un clownlike and dragging my acans all over the place.

i got these clowns when i helped my buddy pick up his 90 g, so he offered to trade his wyoming whites to see if the clowns would do better back in their origional home...

they didnt

just look at em over there all guilty as hell

yeah so anyway the clowns are causing issues in his tank and have been moved to sump.

i offered to give his whites back but he is willing to wait until mine come in on tuesday so i can keep a bioload.

so i asked my woman to marry me on christmas eve eve... she said yes.

so merry christmas and happy new year on that note.

ok so this brings us up to speed. the rest of corals are in an this week there will be alot of changes going on.


how i provide for my fish and family

so this week i have

shipments from cherry corals and savagereefers.com coming in.

as well as a t5 hybrid with 4 ati blu plus coming.

pretty excited about lighting upgrade.

my maintenance so far is simply 25% waterchanges every 10 days floss changes every 5.

i skipped the ugly new tank stage by keeping lights off and skimming heavy through the cycle.
