I have a JBJ 45. I swapped the stock pumps for Cobalt MJ1200's and got rid of their garbage media baskets and bought InTank media baskets. Running a Cad Lights PLS-50 Elite for skimmer. My light is well out of your price range, Radion XR30 Pro. Had an issue about 6 months into owning my tank with the back wall seal coming apart and JBJ promptly replaced the tank. Had this one for almost 6 months and no issues at all.

I'm using a Ocean Revive T-247b on my jbj 30. When I was shopping around for a light.. for under $200 your options are small (outside of the ocean revive or a chinese box) if you want good coverage. If I were to purchase again I really like the Prime HD but it's $300.

Here's a pic of my tank..

As far as the stand I hated the OEM stand. It looked cheap. Checkout my thread and see what I did.
Really nice, I have the same tank, different lighting, look good:)

Sorry to read that. But surely it's not everyone tank who's doing this. JBJ seems to be one of the more popular brands around nowadays so surely I can depend on them! Hopefully haha
Not sure about popular, just listed a brand new JBJ 45RL with matching stand, the newer version with thicker glass for $550 and there are no takers. Hell, I would even go down to $500
