Jebao Apex Adapter

Has anyone used the adapted Jebao makes to control their pumps with an Apex?

Mostly I'm interested in it to eliminate some clutter under the stand, but I'm new to the controller thing. I usually throw my pumps on the 'else' mode, equivalent to Ecotech's Reefcrest mode. Could I replicate this using this setup, and could you point me to some code I could just copy?

Thank you for the extremely passive aggressive response. I did google it before asking the question, and only found programs that alternated on and off, couldn't find anything that ramped.

There is a potential issue with the use of this adapter. Each of your pumps has its' own power supply, but the adapter only has one input for a power supply. The single power supply might not be enough to run both your pumps. FishStreet has a larger power supply you can use, but it is shipped from China.

Yeah, I noticed that when I was researching. I imagine it's just a matter of finding a power supply that puts out double the wattage, right?

I have been using that adapter for a few years now.
Initially I was concerned about only using a single power supply but, as I said, I have been using this adapter with 2-RW8's for 2-3 years now with no issues at all.
I used one of the power supplies that came with the RW8 and it has worked flawlessly for years.

As for programming .... I did a LOT reading from this thread:

and it helped me create a pretty good program that creates waves, ramps, nighttime flow and random cycles/flow throughout the day.
It took a while and a bit of experimentation to get it the way I wanted but, in the end, I am happy with the results.

I'm using this on apex. Running 2 jebao pumps on each side, 4 total through apex adapter. I have them programmed to run various speeds, ramp time etc. Much better than out of box power adapter.

Yeah, I couldn't find a 100% straight answer on that either. Perhaps the bigger pumps require an upgraded power supply, but the smaller ones can get away with it? Who knows, they might use the same power brick for the whole line as a cost savings measure. The model number on my RW-15's power brick is BYX-2402500 and it outputs 2.5 amps.

Here is an example. Below is similar for each of the 4 jabeaos. I have 2 medium & 2 large ones. One of each on each side (left & right). Based on the time, it runs various profiles. The profiles vary from little flow to medium, medium to high, surges, night at 30% flow, etc.

If Time 08:00 to 09:59 Then DuskDawn
If Time 10:00 to 18:59 Then Wave
If Time 19:00 to 20:59 Then DuskDawn
If Time 21:00 to 23:59 Then Night
If Time 00:00 to 04:00 Then OFF
If Time 04:00 to 07:59 Then Night
If Output SurgeTimer = ON Then Surge
If FeedA 000 Then OFF

You build profiles. You name profile as "Wave","DuskDawn" etc. Within the profile you set it as pump and set when how long its on, off, min & max intensity. Then the pump will ramp up/down based on the settings.

It looks like he's more setting his up to make waves. I don't really want the pumps oscillating on and off, I'd like more of a 'reefcrest' randomly jumping around kind of mode. Also, I'm guessing both pumps on the one adapter will be doing the same thing, right? There's no way to tell one to do one thing, and the other to do another?
