Just wanted to share some photos from my Jebao DCP5000 rotor repair, success story. Pump say error 04, ie: "rotor stuck", and indeed the rotor was stuck! The ceramic bushings that holds the plate on the rotor was cemented to the rotor shaft. Even after 10 hours of vinegar bath, the parts was as glued together...
Above: The jebao DCP5000 return pump.
Above: The rotor.
Above: Loosen the bushings using a small screwdriver.
I first removed the shovel wheel and the black plastic plate. I did this with a large screwdriver. Then I separated two bushings by putting a very small screwdriver into the holes and carefully rotate it. After that I took a polygrip and rotate it until it came loose...
Above: Removing the bushing with a polygrip.
Above: All rotor parts disambled and ready for a 2nd vinegar bath.
After another vinegar bath, the parts was ready to be reassembled again.
- Saved myself the trouble of buying a new rotor!
