Jebao pumps in Ridgid power tools!

I was cleaning up the packaging from my 13A wet cut tile saw today… inside the box that contained the water pump was a Jebao water pump users manual!

It appears that I purchased this saw shortly before Ridgid rebranded the Jebao pumps they are now using as their own…

I just thought others might find this application of our hobby pumps, and implications for the brand(s) as interesting as I do!

looks like a ubiquitously labeled JP-900!

I guess I’ll update this whenever it inevitably dies due to continuously pumping stone, porcelain, and glass dust… likely sooner rather than later!

The Simplicity Return Pumps in my Aquarium have taken a beating, from Snails Breeding in my Fuge and working over to the Pump Chamber. The 24 Vdc pumps all share a similar design. You may try and find a Sponge Filter to go over the intake. Since Heat and Power Draw aren’t a concern with your Tile Saw. When the pump fails, I’d go with a Danner Supreme Pump, 120 VAC. They do come with a Sponge Filter, plus many Fish Stores and Garden/Pond Stores carry them.

Note the last photo; there’s a high cell count open cell ABS foam sponge which slots in prior to the pump!

Keep in mind; the rock, porcelain, and glass dust are so incredibly fine that this sponge effectively does nothing, short of keeping “the big chunks” out!
