Hey all, so my old Hydor finally took a crap on me. I took that as my sign to finally get a little better powerhead and wanted something with wave functions. Picked up the new rw-8 to replace it. My tank is a 29g rectangular (not a cube). I seemed to be getting decent flow with the placement of the old pump at the top rear of the right side glass. This got me a swirling effect around the rocks, but nothing in the way of random flow. Basically what I would love to know if there would be a better location to utilize the wavemaker features.

It should be powerful enough just to put on else mode and point across the tank. Else is the best for random flow.

Ok cool and thanks for the quick reply, that's what I was hoping I'd be able to do. Do you have any experience with rw series?
