Jecod AOW 3 app connectivity

Evening all.

I’m in the process of setting up my first reef tank. Got a good deal on a jecod AOW 3 power head. The thing turns on and runs fine but I’m having no luck at all in connecting it to the Jebao Aqua app. Anyone else have troubles with using connection between this app and powerhead?

Is it used? If so, have you done a system reset or is such a thing possible? It may already be tied to an account and unable to be discoverable by the app.
