Jeff K. Rhode Island Reefer 525 XL Deluxe

Hi..I'm Jeff. Heading back to the Reef after 14ish years. I went with the Red Sea 525 XL Deluxe as it was highly recommended. I was contemplating a Waterbox 130.4 but they were 6 weeks out so...nope. So far in my build: (pics attached)
Return Pump: Octo Varios 4 DC
Flow Pump: Ice Cap 4K Gyre
Skimmer: Reefer Skimmer 300
Lights: 3 ReefLED 90 (part of Deluxe package)
4 bags of livesand
108 lbs of Caribsea purple life rock

First pic is my family taping up the wall where i am going to put the tank as part of my birthday celebration

Then bought some stuff waiting for delivery

Moved it into the house after delivery.. that is heavy

Started building the stand

Got lazy and stopped taking pictures but got the tank on the stand....added rock..added sand....put in some water so i could level the tanks...and here i am.

Did you fill up the tank before hooking up the sump and doing your plumbing?

NOOO i hooked up plumbing and Sump but i don't have the return pump connected. I'm using it to fill the tank i will attach return pump prior to the water level reaching the overflow.

My reefLED's are on BUT the reefbeat app that controls the lights wont connect it just does the wifi search thing...i can't adjust my lights at all! i know using an app is nice but with that being the ONLY way to control them i have a big problem.

Try powercycling your wifi router, that might start discovery all over again. Good luck!

I am having the same problem except my leds are not on.. rebooted router and that did not help

My lights are all set. The app started working that same night while I was miles away at my LFS. I got an email from Red Sea saying there was an issue that day with the app and many people were having problems.
