Hi all,

I have become an owner of this fantastic coral - Jelly Bean Ultra Rainbow chalice.

I have never had that colorful chalice before. I have a few different ones, which grow in my tank well.

I am worrying, this one needs some „special requirements”.

Could anybody advice me where do I place this chalice please? How strong flow does it need? What’s about the lights? (I have 3x Radion Xr30 g5 in my 5ft tank). As far as I know, it needs strong lighting.
If any more experienced reefers could advice me, it would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance,
Raynn

I’d say med flow and med light.. my experiences with chalices is the grow better at an angle or vertically then laying flat on the bottom. My sc dynamite loves the angle and grows fast

it makes a sense, I have a different chalice place vertically on the rock like you said and it grows like a wildfire while the other place flat doesn’t grow that fast. Thank you for advice.

Ask the seller, he is usually quite responsive.
