Do you have an autofeeder setup for all the anthias?

I don’t, I’ve been keeping anthias every since I started the hobby. I just feed them twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the evening. Never had any issues with them. I know they say they should eat small meals multiple times a day but I never felt the need to. I make sure they don’t miss a single meal though. They all have been happy and healthy.
I can only speak for the two types I keep along with the fat heads. I had a pair of them for along time as well. May be different for other types.

Guess I should update the info about my tank instead of just posting one random full tank shot lol
Current equipment as of today

Lights - ati SunPower 8 bulb with 2 reefbrite xho strips
Powerheads- 2 mp 40’s
Bio pellet reactor
Hob refuguim (for my mandarin)
Gfo reactor (currently been turned off)
Co2 scrubber
Cheap uv sterilizer (just for water clarity)
Pump- vectora m1
Skimmer- reef octopus 200 (takes up most of my sump)
Apex
Trident
Bubble magus dosers
Tunze ato
I think that’s about it equipment wise

I dose esv bionic 2 part daily along with kalkwasser
Try to do at least 5 percent water change every Sunday.
Sold off all my euphyllia but a couple to keep only acros.
That’s pretty much it nothing to exciting [emoji3526]

Love it! Only complaint I will make is it’s kinda loud while doing the testing. Luckily mine is upstairs in our game room so not a big deal for me but might be for others.

I’m sure it helps along with having frags from other people’s tank that had coraline on the plugs

I love the old tank, it is actually my dream tank lol. And the new one is beautiful.Also the bird. I love hawkfish. I have an arc eye, they are so fun to watch. Haha I love everything.

Beautiful birds, I know what you mean, two big dogs and one unruly cat plus a tank and numerous other hobbies the extra funds disappear fast. ;Shifty

Oh I feel you, trust me lol they are just expensive, but you cannot stop doing everything for them. The are all too cute!! Wow

Lol I should have stopped at the 180 I had. I was like nope need bigger so went with an 8ft 240 gallon. The amount of work and maintenance on it was just killing me. I spent so much money on equipment for a 240 along with gfo, carbon etc that the tank was always pretty empty besides fish [emoji1787]

Yeah...... so I wanted a long tank to give that really awesome panoramic viewing experience, but I priced everything out, contemplated the the maintenance in both time and money, and ultimately decided on having a tank custom made for more money than a “standard” 8’ tank, most being 300g options or so.....

I ended up doing 8’ long, to scratch that itch.... and 20” deep, so the same depth as my standard 75g, and I wanted to be able to look down in it as well, so it is only 16” tall..... basically a shallow guy..... Add it all up, and it only comes out to 130-135g. I can’t image I will spend too much time thinking “I wish this were 100 gallons bigger”


“Maybe” wish it were 18” tall vs 16, but that’s another grand in the acrylic game apparently

I’m sure eventually I will go bigger again. Right now since I was able to afford to get everything pretty much automated on this smaller tank I’m really enjoying the simplicity of it lol

Your tank looks great after one year. Excellent work! I love the Parrots. I had a Congo grey for about a year.. had to move him on as I found out I was highly allergic to them.

Thank you! That’s a bummer about they grey. They are really dusty even when you keep them clean. Almost reminds of that kid from Charlie Brown that would walk with dirt all around him lol
