Few new additions, the Frag Farmers Market was good to me.

Ok so no real updates here. The system is running well now and I'm hoping to have the room where the DT will go finished soon so that I can move forward.

The tank will go here
aga4ere7.jpg

If your wondering that is not the footprint for a 200DD. It is the footprint of a 180gal. After considering cost, size of my fish, and location I decided that the 6' length would be more benificial then the 3' depth.

So if there is a mod avail please change the name of my thread from 200 to 180. Thx

Room is almost finished. Got the floor in over the weekend and only have a little more painting left to do.

I'm still not sure if I need to brace the floor from underneath, but I probably will. Not sure what I should use for that so any ideas are welcome. My first thought was just 4x's from floor to studs but please offer so suggestions on that. The floor is 2x10 with 3/4" ply if that helps, and the tank will go on a outside wall. Thanks for looking.

Hi...you get around! I'd run a 4x4 across the 16" on center beams, and then use 4x4s to support that cross beam.

Oh also to add the tank will run perpendicular to the joists if that helps

Definitely helps. I assume the outside wall where the tank is going is also load bearing, which is great. I'd add the 4x4 cross braces 2-3 feet from the wall and support it the 4x4s and you are good to go. Probably wont need it, but you will sleep better...:)

Progress looks great! Man I miss having a separate fish filtration area/frag area. Living in a rental we have to stick to all-in-one footprint. Excited to see what is to come

And this morning I have been working on the light rack. All built in pine to match the stand. This is the same design I used on my 90g except longer obviously.

That's all for now. I should have the rack finished tonight and ready for staining. Thanks for looking.

Little more progress. I completed the plumbing this weekend and it's begging for water so I think I will be getting that going through the week. I also have a few pieces of shelf rock that should be in by Wednesday so I may add that to the scape as well, not sure yet. I am also waiting on a 15ft Aquabus cable to arrive so I can hook up the apex outlet and get this ready for power. Hopefully it's long enough. That's about it for now. Here's a few parting shots of the current scape with sand.
