Mark any GOOD photo's of yours? i have never seen one in person and it has been a long time since i saw one and fell in love. I recall the one where it was in your palm was love at first sight for me.

I've posted quite a few in my tank thread of you can check the TOTM article as there were a couple in there.

Does any one concur with this statment? If one can't fit in a 90 i doubt i'll be getting one.

I personally think that a 90 would be fine for a smaller one, but who really knows as the less room they have to swim, the more damage they are proned to do.

Well a tank hasn't been set in stone just know a new one is going to be ordered withen two months. I was either going with a 30x30x24 a 36x36x24 might be in order insted to insure some mroe room.

I would think a 90 gallon would be fine. When I got mine my male was bout 3"
and the little girl was about 1". Since than my female has doubled in size but my male has really not grown. I have not seen a 5" one either I would have to guess he bought it being that size.
Here is my male from a while back

5". Thats as big as they get, in fact, thats the biggest one I have ever heard of in captivity. How long have you had it?

About 7 months now, I received him at around 4", more like 3 and 3/4" and he has grown very quickly to 5" He is as big as my regal and majestic. I think one small individual may be OK in a 90, but in the long run the fish will most likely suffer. Although they are typically considered pygmy angels, they are some of the largest pygmys available second only to the interruptus in final size.

Good luck with your final decision.

Beautiful pictures. I wont even waste my time posting my crappy shots.
I agree with Mark on all points, they love to nip at most anything, but don't do much damage on larger corals. I do have zoo's and pally's and they don't bother them.
(I just saw this thread, I don't know how I missed it). LOL

OK, I lied.
