Was happy to see that the goldenrod anacropora had a few polyps out. Was beginning to worry about that guy!

Thanks Brandon! You'll have to wait, though. I'm going to try to chop them up and make a frag pack to sell for Frank's gofundme. Wanted to get it done today, but day caught up to me. Monday! That and the skimmer...

Thanks Nman! Means a lot coming from you. Love your UK rock pool tank.
Well there’s some people on there you know if you have a interest and no native tank not a problem. Your tank is looking very very nice. Go to account user group scroll down join watch your build thread badge disappears and you have to copy and paste back on . The club is for native tanks but also to enjoy and have fun with other members . Great bunch of people all together in one place

This guy... Always making nice pictures.

Goldenrod is one I'm hoping to pick up eventually. I purchased a "Spongodes" back a while ago for $5. Pretty sure it's a Slimeball Anacropora though based on the growth pattern.

Sorry for the dark picture, lights are just ramping up for the day and it sits directly below my overflow.

Been following this build for a while. What light settings are you using currently?

Hi, thanks for following! I have currently 3 Noopsyche Minis over the tank and they are each running a quasi Saxby type schedule with intensity peaking and dropping throughout the day. I'll try to get some pics for you tomorrow of the schedule -- they are in my office and I'll need to connect to them.

What I've done is gradually increase the white channels over time. Originally I just had the blenny and the cave dwelling firefish, so bluer hue didn't bother me. I was aiming for an AB+ spectrum. But now with the two wrasses, yasha goby and two clowns, I wanted more whites to display their colors.

The Noops are ideal for this tank in my opinion. They are each covering an area of ~12" x 15.5", where their ideal square is 18"x18" for that light. So I'm getting some overlapping hot spots, especially on the SPS island in the middle. Spectrum and light penetration are excellent. I can tell the corals and nems like it. I've never done T5s or MH for comparison, but I've had AI prime, Fluval bars and custom bars, and this light is my favorite so far.

New liquid food mix for the refrigerator doser:
1693431401664.png

Currently mixing at 6mL + 14mL + 14mL + 6mL for a 40mL volume in a 40mL tube. Lasts a bit over half a week. Doser says I'm dosing 4mL per dose 5x per day, but that's wrong, and I don't calibrate this head because it's a pain to calibrate with this liquid mixture, so I just eyeball what's dropping into the tank. I figure a good 2mL is going in each time.

I'd love to have two doser heads going instead of one: one for Oyster Feast/Phyto Feast and one for ROE/Tigger Feast. They have different viscosity, so I feel like the ROE/Tiggers would stay in suspension better over time in a single tube and the Oyster/Phyto would do better in their own tube. Not too bad in any case, though. Fish seem fat and happy, at least!

In the office on Labor Day, woohoo! Just scraped the glass, and looking nice. See if you can spot the pitho crab. I just gave it a piece of nori--feel bad it's out looking for algae and finding none. Then I feel good that there isn't any algae (knock on wood).
