Here the start of a new build, I have been on Reef2reef for a few years and have had a few tanks. Here’s the link to my old thread.

My tanks been up and running for a few months. I put maybe an inch of my live sand on the bottom of the tank, and used live rock that I had also. Here’s what it looks like now.

Equipment list:
Tank-deep blue 120 gallon with dual overflows
Stand-I made out of old barn wood
Light-2-250w metal halide with 4-T5’s (still love my halides)
-2 Phoenix 14k 250w halides
-4 ATI blue+ T5’s
Heater-ehim
Return pump-quiet one 2200
Wave makers-2 rw-8’s
Calcium reactor-GEO with carbon doser regulator
Skimmer-Deltec (best skimmer I’ve ever had over the years)

Got a coral beauty and a yellow tang a few weeks ago and now got to go into display. I’ve never had luck with angelfish not leaving corals alone so hopefully this guys a good citizen.

Well ordered me some clownfish and some peppermint shrimp, cannot wait for them to arrive Wednesday.
 
Got my clownfish, they were packed very nicely, and after acclimation they went into the tank. They were already eating within 4 hours of being out of the bag. Big thanks to Pacific Eastern Aquaculture!
