i know its been a while but hows your marine mod? thinking of ordering one for my 120 as well. but u think 1600 is overkill?
Almost 3 years in, and the MM is still working like a champ. no leaks, dead quiet, easy to clean. Id easily give the MM a ringing endorsement.
I went with the 1600 for a couple reasons; the weir is very large, so i get great surface skimming (it spans about 40% of the tank). I will also upgrade in size, eventually, and I wont have to buy another overflow (just new gaskets).

I ordered one through amazon yesterday. Now waiting for delivery.
