So this last weekend I got the tank all set up and filled with saltwater and put the sand in. Now I am ready for the live rock which I believe will be here sometime next week

So I received my live rock from KP sciatica this morning and I have to say this rock looks awesome. I did have a lot of die off which I expected, I got it all cleaned up and just set in the tank until the gets off she is the artsy one so she will do the aviation scape. I will post more pics when she gets going on the Acura scape

Dam auto correct that was supposed to say KP acuatics. But I also got this guy but he didn’t make it in the tank

This is what my wife came up with. Please let me know what you guys think? After looking at the tank and a little research we are thinking about upgrading the tank to a JBJ RF 45 or maybe even the 65 just thinking we ultimately won’t be happy with this tank and while we are at this point if we want to change things now is the time to do it

Thank you for asking about the tank. It looks the same as the last picture. I am waiting for the rock to finish curing now the rock has only been in the tank for one week today

So today I ordered a JBJ RF 45 gallon tank. So when that tank arrives I will transfer everything to the new tank. I also ordered some dry rock to add some to the new tank. I don’t think I will start a new build thread I think I will just continue the new tank in this thread. My question is do you guys think the lights I have will be enough for that size tank? I am going to order a par meter in a couple weeks as I will need it for the big build I’m doing as well. If the lights won’t be enough for the new tank I think I know what route I will go for extra lighting. I will be doing mixed reef with this tank

How did the new JBJ 45 build go? Picking one up this weekend. Also looking into what PAR would be. What did you find out?
