Different pics of zoas- rastas didn't open all the way tonight and neither did the gobstoppers. Jokers opened a little but not all the way. Others were completely open. :)

Well.. as much as I would like a yellow watchman goby/pistol shrimp pair, I think I will eventually add an orchid dottyback and a cleaner shrimp to finish off the stock list.

I just don't think the goby/shrimp pair will be active enough for me.

No new updates really. Waiting on things to grow out for a while now, unless I see something at the LFS that I just can't live without. Haha

Have a zoa losing a color and a couple more not opening all the way so I'm going to move them up a little in the tank.

Need to work on getting things off the sandbed and onto the rock.

That's all

Updated FTS.. nothing really new. Moved some things around.
Found a Trochus that found its way into my Koralia , but other than that, no other fatalities.

I have one aiptasia on my GSP that I noticed when I first got the frag. It's getting bigger but it's still small. What's the best/cheapest way to nuke one of those?

When I had aiptasia in my old 29, I got a few peppermint shrimp and they took care of them. But I had more than one aiptasia in there, I don't want a peppermint shrimp in this tank.

The tank is looking fantastic! As for the Aiptasia, Red Sea makes a product called Aiptasia-X. It basically melts Aiptasia on contact, but didn't hurt anything else in the tank. It comes with a syringe so missing is very hard to do...

Are you sure you don't want a pep shrimp? Typically if there is one Aiptasia, there will be more... It couldn't hurt to have one for a few weeks, and you could always bring it back to the LFS later on.

Thank you!

I will look into aiptasia-x. I've inspected everything I've put in before going into the tank and now. I still only see that one since the day I got it. I debated on even putting it in my tank. I'm pretty set on no peppermint, though.
:)

Your tank looks great. I love that yuma! If you only have one aptasia you might try to just superglue it closed. I haven't tried it yet, but it's going to happen an about 5 minutes ;) Aptasia X didn't help me at all.
