Mine looks nice but hasn't done jack as far as growth...

I kept meaning to ask around if others are experiencing the same thing...

yeah growth seems to be pretty slow, could be because i got like 1.25 head instead of 2. now i have 2 full heads.

Were you able to pull the blue like the original pic? I'm pulling more of a darkblue /w reddish skin

I've been getting plenty of growth out of mine, just not that much color. It's gone from 2 heads to 5 heads in about 3 months but I'm still waiting to see some gold.

I have noticed, at the beginning, it is a very slow grower but now is starting to polyp out. I think it just needs to settle in different tank conditions. We also stopped making frags for now. The color has been going all over the place and we don't want to stress out the mother colony. FYI....low low low light, cave light does best. If anybody has other pics we would love to see.=)

no problem...keep me posted of your growth, I like to compare with others.=)

Here is a shot of the mother colony, as you can see, it is all over the place with what color it wants to be. Usually after I cut it, it colors different from the pic so I am trying not to stress it out to much.

Thanks Charles, I will move mine down some. I have it about mid-tank level. I have a few cave areas and I will try it there. Debbie

Mine wasn't doing anything until I took my refugium out. Running barebottom now with lr and skimmer only. it has busted out in the last 3-4 weeks with 2 new heads, opening up more, and colors are starting to pop.
