Julian's Thing came in the mail. My 7 yr old daughter was all excited by the box. She insisted on helping me put it together, asking what it was. I kept insisting that it was Julian's Thing and that this was of course all that needed said. "I don't know what that means, Daddy." When it was put together, she was even less assured and not at all. So, as she was very upset about not being able to help put it together, I let her pull the syringe and then push it back in slowly to feed the corals. That she understood. Then came in the wife. What on earth is THAT?!? My daughter proudly exclaimed "Julian's Thing!" Leah (wife) asked me to clarify, and I just held up the packaging with "Julian's Thing" printed on it.

My wife thunks there is something seriously wrong with me, and y'all, and now my daughter.

She is correct. LOL

I side-stepped the conversation by asking what it would look like if a "Thing" was name after her.

...and the oddly named Little Fishies tool was completely forgotten.
