yeah ive been posting more because my thread hasent been getting overlooked and honestly sometimes we all just need to shoot the breeze on subjects and everyone has differnt opions and honstly that will start many little conversations inside of one conversation everyone learning and sharing knowledge and expierenc IMO who ever had a problem should have came to you first then to the mods we are all adults here right ?

well hopefully not lol and honestly ive started posting more because its been more laid back latly and honestly not trying to push buttons but there were only a few certain people that helped me when things were grim in my tank and honstly any help or ideas can help when times are ruff. ive had numerouse questions that at the time where extremly important ( like when i had a heater float out of place and explode in my sump ) that went unanswered so i realy could understand the problem with posting to much or causing havock but honestly as long as everything stays famly friendly and on topic for the most part lol there shouldnt be an issue. this is just my two cents as im not in any position to make these calls lol

yeah just relax and let it work out and i love this site because theres always something new and MOst of the time extremly helpfull but sometimes in clutch situation things do sometimes go unanswered but an active forum makes that a little easier to happen because it could quikly lose its place and once out of sight normally the thread is done so to say lol

Really the only problem we are seeing is topics that are going off topic. That is ok to an extent and were not going to try and keep people from posting but we do want to try and keep things a little more on topic.

Why you may ask? Well because when people go searching about radium bulbs on the site they don't need to have to sift through post about Joes dog in the same thread. :D That will drive people away and basically turn a dictionary of reef information into a full blown crossword puzzle. LOL!

Again we are more laid back but honestly we must try and keep some amount of order or our info will be worthless.

Phil you have had some great topics and PLEASE keep posting those. Thought provoking threads and info will be the driving force to see a site grow and survive. The worthless post will end in demise! trust me I have seen it and I have been involved with it on other boards. As we get bigger we face more problems but it's all good if we can work through it.

Also another note is we have a lounge to talk about anything off topic and by all means TEAR IT UP! ;)

Hope you guys understand where this is coming from. Also understand that this is not because of PM's from members. While we may have had a few, this is not why we are asking this of the community. It really just brings to light ways we can be more efficient.

Seriously many of you that have been around me long enough here know that I care about each and every one of you. The mods here are real hobbyist who genuinely care for each other and you. No power trips here at all I can promise you that. We discuss the decisions made and while we are not perfect we are doing our best. We haven't had but probably 20-25 people ever banned from this site. Most of those were due to spam.

Phil the written words can seem more harsh than they really are. You also need to understand that sometimes we deal with people who are not as receptive as you and so there is no confusion we have to get people to understand by speaking plainly to them.

PS. I am not mad or upset in the least. People should be able to discuss differences in opinion, and problems without acting like children. Everyone here has been very cordial and acted like adults. Another good example of why R2R is what it is. :D

So i just want to thank everyone for there support and for those who where upset(i really wish you would speak up) im sorry and ill keep my post down alot more! thanks again, i didnt think this many people actually liked my post, sounds stupid but i was very upset getting those pms, i thought the WHOLE community bascially felt this way! so once agian to those who i made fell uncomfortable in any way or angry in any way im really really for the bottom of my heart sorry!

Well, I think that you have more than achieved your "posting machine" title, now you can sit back and relax. ;p You have been posting a lot, but you have also raised some good discussions, I think it seems to some people that you are "taking over" the forum because reef2reef isn't as active a forum as RC or Nano-Reef. Not knocking it, its just the truth.

If other people want to make you less noticeable then they ought to post more and put out some thought provoking discussions, instead of ******** about someone trying to make things more lively.

On the other hand, now that you've achieved your title, try to be sure you read all the threads you're posting on instead of just posting for the sake of posting and lastly, get a JOB!!!! Honestly you have way too much time on your hands! hehehehe Come over to my place, I'll put you to work fragging. ;p

Everyone here is really laidback compared to **** Central, so don't worry if a few people can't handle the new energy you've injected into this forum. ;]
