Past 5 hours I been home male clown been spending most of his time between to anemones in a big hole in rock. He does the clown shake/twitch and touches his nose to the rock. Every now and then the female comes over and does a quick look the leaves. The anemone crab might be in that area if still alive.
any thoughts?
Just let nature take its course. Watch what happens next. They will figure it out.

Looks great! Keep us posted on the Trident results.... Curious as to what they find.

hope you have an LFS that will take in some anemone clones when the time comes. They’ll eventually wander away from that one rock when they run out of room and thats when things can go wrong.

Last night they started to move some. Didn’t get to look this morning but they are crowded with four so some must go.
couple days ago one moved and looked like it was preparing to rip its self in half

Tank is looking really nice!
Thank you

Don I cant believe the rate your nems split at. Incredible profit to be made to finance other goodies ;)
Want some I can hand them off for the cave party. They are getting to crowded now and I may have more in a few weeks.

Something to keep in mind is that they can be much easier to remove while they are walking around themselves. They're less likely to have their foot settled deep in a rock. If you grab a dollar store basket to keep on hand you could snatch them up as they walk and place in the basket until you have a chance to bring em to an LFS or trade away.

I already have one, and although I'd love another, I'd much rather see your reef benefit from trades and sales of them considering my reef has an expiration date and I would end up selling them anyways..

Appreciate the idea. Perhaps others will be interested.

That was my thought but never thought about a dollar store basket to house them in. I was thinking using my acclimation box.

My LFS doesn’t want them because he has to many high end anemones now so if I can catch some and you make a few dollars I’m ok with it.
something to think about. Not forcing them on you
